Randall D. Decker
A graduate of Purdue University, Randy Decker has an Associate and Bachelor
degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET). Decker is in his 20th
year of teaching Electronics Technology and Project Lead the Way Digital
Electronics at Walker Career Center in MSD of Warren Township; Indianapolis,
IN. In addition he has taught at Summer Training Institutes at Purdue
University Kokomo; Sinclair Community College; Dayton, Ohio; and Duke
University; Durham, NC. Prior to being an educator, he was an Engineering
Technologist at the RCA Corporation (Thomson Consumer Electronics) for 9
years.
Decker was elected to the Perry Township Board in 2004. Other community
involvement includes serving as a member for the Association for Career and
Technical Education (ACTE), Indiana SkillsUSA Executive Board, is Vice
President of the IndianaFIRST Robotics Executive Board, and an IPL Golden
Apple recipient. He has been the team sponsor for the FIRST (For Inspiration
and Recognition of Science and Technology) Warren Robotics Team #829 at the
Walker Career Center for six years.
